Naming and brand development
Focusing on a central entertainment island to differentiate a new brand
We renamed and rebranded a large-scale masterplanned real estate development on Bahrain's South-eastern coast for Bareeq Al Ritaz. Formerly named 'Hasabi', the shape of the reclamation is highly distinctive, but reminisent of the 'Menora' candlestick of Hebrew descent. However, a central 'entertainment' island provided a strong focus for residential enjoyment, and this was an attribute that gained in brand importance.
Through selective use of colour, the symbol (derived from the land shape) became the Arabic 'N' or 'Nuun', and this then became a logical name for the development itself. Following the naming and brand design, we created corporate presentation material together with brand guides, outdoor and billboard grid systems and social media templates.
